I changed my mind on a name again and was missing the name Simply Sage, so I made the new blog, Simply Sage Creations.
I promise not to make a new blog again.

My camera died and I haven't had new pics for posting, but maybe I should jump on for minute. My little crows are done.
The scarecrow doesn't scare a thing.
I never worked for the veggie farmer, but I have gone and sold my jewelry and help the market manager when I can.
I worked for three weeks of graveyard at the local JoAnn's Fabric while they(we) remodeled and reorganized the entire store. I got to see all the new products and touch every bead and scrapbook product, yard, zippers and on and on. It was the best time and the people I worked with were all so nice and fun.
My daughter is spending part of the summer with me and my sister and brother-in-law are here right now. Also, friends from Washington came and visited. One night Steve, Maria and Elizabeth and the next day My awesome friend Autumn, her husband and three cute and sweet girls came and visited. Then my husbands, Aunt?Cousin came. So much visiting!
Once I get some pics from my daughter and sis, I'll get back to the posting.

Artist Michael deMeng is going to be in Eugene in September at MECCA the Materials Exchange I discovered him long ago and he makes the coolest art. Imagine my excitement when I read the following post from MECCA on Facebook.

MECCA is happy to announce that Michael deMeng, the Reverend of Rust, Devotee of Detritus and Aficionado of Found Objects, will be teaching a two-day assemblage workshop at MECCA.

"I've always liked the idea of a place where secrets are kept. Of course most people think of Pandora and her box (which, as an aside was actually a large jar in the original story... I think I prefer to think of it as a small box for some reason), or there is Alice going down the rabbit hole. In both cases the there is potential danger inside those sacred places, but also potential enlightenment. Well this is the idea that lurks behind this workshop. This is a two day class where students will create a small realm to preserve sacred things, but that's not all, students will also create a small little metaphoric representation of what they want to lock away or keep safe. To do this we will explore a variety of assemblage, collage and painting techniques to create these magical little worlds. Are you locking away a secret or keeping something sacred safe? The choice is yours, and don't worry...your secret is safe with me."

Hi there and welcome to my blog.
Since moving to a new state and basically starting over, I have been in the job hunt mode.
I might have a job helping out at a Farmer's Market booth. I went last week and found out all about it and it was fun!
This Saturday it looks like a produce stand and I might become good friends.
